The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is the most likely candidate to be the first phone to feature the forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus processor.

In Europe, the smartphone was released last month. The Motorola Edge 30 is the latest smartphone in the company’s ‘Edge’ series. It’s thought to be the successor to Motorola’s Edge 20, which was released in India last year.

Motorola could be the first OEM to release a handset powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus, according to reports from China. Thankfully, the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is an obvious candidate for the job. The “Frontier 22” moniker for the forthcoming flagship was revealed months ago. It’s almost certain to ship with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1(+) Plus.
