Most Reliance Jio users complained of no signal or internet access. Downdetector showed 68% users reporting network signal loss.
About 16% faced mobile data failures during the outage. Another 16% experienced a complete blackout without any service available. Airtel too faced network issues, but only in select areas.

Users came on X with complaints as well as humor. One user wrote about 4G working but 5G failing. Many users reported internet outages in West Bengal, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh as well and Bihar.

Jio Fiber users also reported no working connection. Some people shared memes mocking Jio during the blackout. Social media posts highlighted inconveniences faced across different states and cities.
The Response from Users
This is not the first time for Reliance Jio. Users reported the same in August in Delhi as well as Noida. Many users then faced call drops and internet failures.
Regarding the latest disruption, Jio confirmed the issue was resolved. Sources explained there was a latching issue lasting half an hour. Airtel also faced two outages last week in select circles.
