Instagram is testing the longer stories for Android and iOS users. The new Longer Stories option lets users post up to 60 seconds videos on their story. Your 60 seconds videos won’t be broken into multiple segments once this feature is rollout for both Android and iOS users. This option is currently under development. It will roll out soon for Android and iOS users.

Currently, users can set the 15-second videos on their Instagram stories in a single segment. If you post the video story longer than 15 seconds then it will split into multiple segments. But once the longer stories option will roll out for the users then you will be able to post longer stories on Instagram.
