Instagram will soon allow users to repost other users’ posts on their accounts. Instagram will begin testing the new Reposts feature for selected users soon. Recently it has introduced a Not interested button.
Now it will be testing the new Reposts feature. Today I am explaining to you about the Instagram testing new Reposts feature. You have to read this post till the end to know more about the new Reposts feature.
Instagram begins testing the new Reposts feature
The Meta-Owned Company Instagram has not revealed the new Repost feature publicly. The Social Media Consultant Matt Navarra has posted the screenshot about the new Reposts tab. He shares the screenshot of Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri’s account and shows the Reposts tab.
As per the screenshot, the Reposts tab will be available on the users’ profiles alongside the posts, reels, and tagged photos. The new Reposts feature gives a better way to widely share the other users’ posts they like on their feeds. Currently, we can’t directly repost other users’ posts in our feed.
Some users use the third-party app to repost other users’ posts on their feeds. There are so many third-party apps available to repost other users’ posts. Currently, we can share the other users’ posts on our Instagram Story. But after rolling out the new Reposts feature we can share the other users’ posts in our feed.
Some users also use the story share feature to repost other users’ posts. They also use the DMs (Direct Message) feature to share the posts that they liked with their friends. Users share any posts multiple times to share the liked posts with more friends.
