As per The Verge report, Google send the Vanced owners a letter recently, which has forced the developers to stop distributing and developing the app. ” We were asked to remove all references to YouTube change the logo, and remove all links related to YouTube products,” the Vanced Team admin says to The Verge in a Discord message.

The Official Vanced Twitter handle announces their decision and post the tweet thread, ” In the coming days, the download links on the website will be takedown. We know this is not something you wanted to hear but it’s something we need to do. Thanks, you all for supporting us over the years, Vanced official said on Twitter”.

YouTube Vanced was a very popular app among Android users due to the ad-free experience. It is not only popular for ad-free experience but also for the black theme and other customization that the official YouTube app doesn’t have. The Vanced app is not available on the Google Play Store. But the Vanced app website allows users to download the APK file.

It also allows users to use the Google account to sync their data including the subscribed channels, comments, etc. The Official announcement suggests that the existing version of the YouTube Vanced will continue to work for now.
