WhatsApp is working on the new Pending Participants feature for Group. Group Admins can see the pending list of all the people who want to join the group. Admins can see the pending people who want to join and group and approve them.

WhatsApp is developing the new pending participants’ feature for Group Admin to see all pending people who want to join the group. The group Admin can see the list of pending participants and approve them. The new pending participants feature will be in the group info.

As you can see in the given image, WhatsApp will add the additional section Pending Participants in the group info. The new Pending Participants section will be visible to the group Admins only. The group admins are the only member to be able to approve the new participants.

WhatsApp is also working on a new feature to manage who can approve the new participants. After enabling the new approve new participants option the approval for new members is limited to the Group Admins and the people who want to join the group via a group invite link.

Both the new group approval and the new Pending Participants feature are currently under development. But WhatsApp will soon roll out the new Pending Participants for Group and Group approval for the iOS beta testers.
