They will be able to control whether their profile is shown directly from the channel settings. Today, I am explaining to you about WhatsApp’s channel Admin Profile Feature. You have to read this post till the end to know more about the upcoming channel admin profile feature.

WhatsApp Working on A Channel Admin Profile Feature
The meta-owned messaging app is exploring a new feature that allows channel admins to create a personal profile for their channel. It allows channel admins to create an identity that is shown to followers when they post a channel update.
For example, a business with a WhatsApp channel and multiple employees then asks each admin to create a personal profile so followers can see who posted a specific update. The personal profile for the channel admin helps promote transparency by clearly showing the source of each message with limited information.

The meta-owned messaging app will show admins an option to create a profile directly within the channel info screen once the feature is available. The profile will be attached to every update shared by that specific admin to the channel.
However, each update on the channel will reflect the profile details as they appeared at the time it was posted. This means that any changes to the admin’s profile will only be reflected in the next update shared in the WhatsApp channel.

Each personal profile of the admin requires an image and the admin’s name. Once the admin enters the information, they will be shown a preview of how the next channel update will look once they share it.
The channel admin profile feature is currently under development. However, the meta-owned messaging app will soon release the new channel admin profile feature for iOS Beta users.
