Users can easily fix these issues that they are facing. It seems that WhatsApp creates a new (.nomedia) file after moving media automatically. Due to this users are unable to see their media files.

How to fix the Media visibility issues?

First of all, you have to kill your phone gallery app. If you don’t know how to kill the app then you are reading this to know. After this open your WhatsApp and be sure that you have enabled the media visibility option. To check whether you have enabled this option or not then open your WhatsApp. Tap on the three dots and go to the setting options. After this go to the Chats option and then Turn on Media Visibility.

If you have done this then open your file manager app and check that you enabled the see hidden files option or not. If your phone’s default file manager doesn’t have this option then use the File Explorer app. Go to the new WhatsApp media path once your file explorer app can see the hidden file.

To go to the WhatsApp new path, you have to open your file explorer go to the internal storage then go to the Android folder. After this go to the media folder and search the com.whatsapp folder.

Tap on the com.whatsapp folder and then open WhatsApp and after this Media folder. You will see the .nomedia file in the media folder you have to delete this .nomedia file. Open your phone Gallery and you are now able to see your media files once you delete them.
