WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature for voice recording that lets users pause their voice recording. Users can resume their voice recording from where they stopped. You don’t need to start the new recording every time.

You can easily pause your recording and resume it. When you tap on the pause button to pause your recording then you will see the resume button to start your recording from where you stopped.

You have to tap on the new recording icon and your recording will start when where you have stopped it. The new pause feature is rolling out for the specific beta testers for iOS. This feature is available on the Beta version for iOS 2.21.230.16.

If you have the same beta version on iOS and you already have the Voice Waveforms while you are recording then you may get this feature, WABetaInfo said.
