According to the WABetaInfo feature tracker of WhatsApp, it is bringing some improvements in the chat migration feature. It allows users to transfer their chats between different platforms. Users can transfer their messages and chats between iOS and Android.

WhatsApp had an issue that when you shift your Android phone to iOS or iOS to Android, you lose your WhatsApp chat history. Because there is no feature to take backup chat history while shifting the phone.

Users couldn’t able to restore their chat history after buying a new device that has a different operating system. But now this feature fixes this issue. There is no possibility to restore your chat history on WhatsApp from Google Drive for iOS and restore your chat history on WhatsApp from iCloud for Android.
