OxygenOS 15 is the upcoming update from OnePlus. It is expected to bring several new features, some of which are inspired by iOS. The changes in OxygenOS 15 aim to improve the user experience. Here I will explain some of the major updates coming to OxygenOS 15.

Revamped Control Center

One of the major changes in OxygenOS 15 is the Control Center. The Control Center will now look more like iOS and HyperOS. The notification shade and quick settings will be separated.

Swiping down from the top right will bring up the Control Center while swiping down from the left will show the notification shade. This separation will help make the user interface cleaner and less cluttered. Users will also be able to go back to the old look if they prefer.

Lock Screen Customization

OxygenOS 15 will bring more customization options to the lock screen. Currently, the options for changing the lock screen design are limited. But, with OxygenOS 15, you can adjust the size, position, and color of the clock on the lock screen.

You can also add a depth effect, which will give a new look to the lock screen. These updates are similar to what we see on iOS and will allow users to personalize their lock screen more easily.

New Volume Slider and Live Photos

Another iOS-inspired feature coming to OxygenOS 15 is the updated volume slider. When you press the volume button again, the slider will shrink to a smaller size, just like on iOS. This feature makes adjusting the volume more convenient.

Additionally, OxygenOS 15 will include Live Photos, a feature that adds motion to photos. This is similar to iOS Live Photos and Google’s Motion Mode. With Live Photos, your memories will feel more lively, making your photos more engaging.

Dynamic Island and Classic Easter Egg

OxygenOS 15 will also update the Fluid Cloud feature. Previously, it was on the left, which bothered some users. Now, it will be integrated into the notch, making it look more like iOS’s Dynamic Island.

This change should offer a more seamless design. Furthermore, the “Never Settle” easter egg will return. You can see this animation by typing “1+” in the calculator app and pressing the equals button.

The Final Words

OxygenOS 15 promises to bring exciting new features to OnePlus devices. With updates inspired by iOS, the user experience will be smoother and more customizable.

From the revamped Control Center to Live Photos, users have much to look forward to. The Beta version is expected to launch soon, so stay tuned for more updates.
