Instagram’s new Not Interested button
Instagram is working on the Not Interested button that allows users to mark the posts as Not Interested. Users can mark multiple posts as Not Interested in the Explore section. Instagram said, “It is testing the ability to mark multiple posts in Explore as Not Interested and the marked posts will immediately hide and it will refrain from showing you similar content in the future”.
It is also working on the new snooze posts feature. The new Snooze feature allows users to snooze the suggested posts for up to 30 days. All the snoozed posts will be hidden from the timeline for 30 days. To hide suggested posts users have to tap on the X icon on the suggested posts.
Instagram is also working on the ability to filter posts with certain words, phrases, or emojis in the caption or hashtags. If you are not relevant to seeing something you can use this feature to see that content.
