Google Play Store turns 10; Gets a new logo – Here’s what you need to know!

As of now, this anniversary has already passed, since the Android Market was presented – at the beginning of March 2021 (This is a significant improvement from what we knew before ). In honor of Play’s 10th birthday, Google announced some additional initiatives. For example – In the USA, starting today, users can earn 10 times more Play points by purchasing apps, games, and in-app content.

Vice President of Google PlayStore said, “We’re introducing a new logo that better reflects the magic of Google and matches the branding shared by many of our helpful products — Search, Assistant, Photos, Gmail, and more.”

Also, he mentions that “A decade later, more than 2.5 billion people in over 190 countries use Google Play every month to discover apps, games and digital content,” he also added, “And more than 2 million developers work with us to build their businesses and reach people around the globe.”

Recently, Google Play Store banned 50 apps from its platform. This took place as the apps violated rules and became harmful to users. For many smartphone users, it acted like a warning. to make an app available on the platform for downloading, it must go through security checks by the Google Play store.

The new logo added enhanced its colors and proportions but the design of the app radically remains the same. Before bringing changes to the Play Store app, Google tried and tested it on the search engine logo itself.
