Location continues without a fixed end time. Users must manually stop sharing later.
Custom Duration
Users can set specific time periods. The maximum limit is twenty-four hours only. Sharing automatically ends after the selected duration.
This makes the feature simple and safe. No extra setup steps are required. You do not edit the Find Hub list. The receiver gets a Google Maps link. The link opens smoothly within the app flow. Users do not jump between apps often.
Sharing can be stopped anytime easily. Open the location card inside the chat. Tap the stop option to end sharing. The other person can also share quickly.
Controls are also available in Maps. They also appear inside Find Hub settings.

Chat messages remain end-to-end encrypted always. Only people in chat can read them. However, location sharing works through Maps.
