Google said that We will soon delete all of your Google Play Music library and data. We will delete all of your Google Play Music data from 24 February 2021.

This includes your music library with any uploads, purchases, and anything you have added from Google Play Music. There will be no way to recover it after this date if you don’t take the backup of your account.

Take Backup and Transfer your Data

You have to download the YouTube Music app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store according to your device.

Open the app and click on the transfer button to transfer all your data. When you click on the transfer button it will transfer your music library including uploaded/purchased music, radio station, and search or playback history. But you won’t be able to transfer your Podcasts using this feature.

If you are one of those users who have already transferred their Play Music data to YouTube Music. Google has recommended repeating this process again to keep your music library updated.

Google has also said in a blog post that for those users who don’t want to transfer their Play Music account to YouTube Music, we will be sure to cancel their subscription at the end of your billing cycle. If you do this then you are not paying for a subscription.
