You can download the Corona Kavach app from the Google Play store. It is currently available for android devices. The app beta version is still undergoing final testing before the official release.
When you open the app it requires two permission access to the location and media file of your phone. Grant all the permission to this app. Enter your phone number to register in the app. This app sends you the OTP one time password. After entering the OTP you can access the app.
When you come on the homepage, you greeted every time when you open the app after brief loading. This app lets you know that you are using the beta version of the app the official app is released shortly. You will find the number of cases of coronavirus in India, the number of cured patients and the number of dead patients in India on the home page. You also get the number of screened passengers at the airport. This information is only for India.
On the bottom of the right corner, there is an option button. When you click on the options button open a page with two options START BREATHING EXERCISE and QUESTIONNAIRE.
Most of the app and website track the novel coronavirus outbreak that use the data fed through the algorithm. Corona Kavach is not driven by an algorithm. It gives you that control in your hand. On the basis of the database, Corona Kavach tags you into the categories and the color- codes indicate your position. If the color code is red it means you are infected by the virus if it is orange means you should see a doctor, Yellow is for quarantine, and green means you are all good.
