In India specifically Apple Store and Google Play, BGMI disappeared mysteriously!
PUBG Mobile was banned by the Indian government in 2020 due to security reasons but, BGMI was launched last year. It’s shocking that on Thursday Battlegrounds Mobile India removed or disappeared from the Apple App Store and Google Play, India-specific.
The majority of the gamers believe that it’s because of a technical error but most of the general public goes crazy over the news. It’s because there’s no explanation for the disappearance.

Many people believe that it’s due to a technical error and that the gaming app will return as soon as possible. However, it’s not clear yet whether the app is banned or not. So, waiting for an explanation – the only option left for the gamers and fans.

It also predicted that the government might have banned BGMI from the App Stores. It’s because of the harmful effects relating to gaming and BGMI made lawmakers raise this issue in Rajya Sabha. So, it’s also considered that it’s not coincidental or maybe there’s no technical issue.

To India Tech Today, the Google spokesperson explains that “On receipt of the order, following established process, we have notified the affected developer and have blocked access to the app that remained available on the Play Store in India”.
Along with this, the representative of the company also stated that “We are clarifying how BGMI was removed from the Google Play store and the App store and will let you know once we get specific information”.
The users or the gamers who already downloaded and installed the BGMI can play it. But then, just recently, the company made an update that worries the gamers much. It may make them unable to play the game and hence it can potentially ban the app for them as well.
