What is Apple AI Emoji Genmoji on iOS 18?
Genmoji, short for “Generative emoji” is available on iOS 18 that allows users to describe the emoji they want to create, and Apple Intelligence will generate it. You can create custom emojis using Apple Intelligence. You can create unique Genmojis on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac by providing a text description like T-rex riding a skateboard while wearing a tutu on a surfboard.

While the iPhone XR, XS, XS Max, and newer models have made it to the iOS 18-supported devices, not all of them are compatible with Apple Intelligence features. To use the iOS 18 Genmoji feature, you need an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, M-series iPad, or an M-series Mac. None of the Apple Intelligence features are included in the iOS 18 Developer Beta.
